A Hokie at the Olympics! Greetings from Pyeongchang, Korea
By Harvey Creasey
Working for NBC at the Olympics is fantastic, but it's going too quickly.
So far, we've been touring venues and getting to know the city before The Today Show starts next Monday. So far, I've gotten to assist on live shots with Today correspondents Kier Simmons, Stephanie Gosk, Natalie Morales, and Kate Snow. They are such pro's.
This first picture is from the top of the 125-meter ski jump. The Alpensia Resort will host this event along with Big Air Snowboarding. This is the only site in South Korea that ski jumpers can use year-round.
This second picture is with Kayla. She is one of our Korean translators.
And this third picture is from the NBC press area at the hockey centre.
The Today show starts Monday from South Korea. Hope to see you on NBC!
